Join us on a magical journey and experience one of Denmark's most fascinating natural experiences: the Wadden Sea, the idyllic island of Mandø and the charming seals in their natural surroundings. We will meet at the parking lot at Okholmvej 5, 6760 Ribe, your guide will be waiting for you at the bike parking. Together in our own cars, we drive along the Låningsvejen safely through the Wadden Sea. In your own cars, you decide whether you want to extend your trip to Mandø, you will be guided in relation to the tide on the day in question. We take the trip to Mandø town, and back along the dike to our starting point for the trip out to the seals, we have to walk about 3 km. We visit the seals in their natural environment on their premises, and bring binoculars so that we can observe them from a distance. On the trip, we explore the seabed and explore based on the impressions of the day. We need to cross water in a single spot, and recommend footwear that is allowed to get wet and dirty, or bare feet. The unique nature of the Wadden Sea creates strong impressions that leave an imprint on the body and soul. You will experience the Wadden Sea through your senses, so that the Wadden Sea crawls completely under your skin and creates memories you will remember for a long time. Seabed walk in the Wadden Sea and soup at Vester Vedsted Vineyard

“Out into the sunset light — home under the moon” The Wadden Sea at sunset is something you can't quite explain -- you have to walk it. The light glides low across the water, the sky gets bigger, and the open landscape feels almost like another world. On this hike we go out into the sunset and home of Mandø Ebvevj in the deeper calm of dusk. We start with soup at Vester Vedsted Vingård, where you will also get a brief introduction to the Wadden Sea and the movements of the tides. After that we drive to Mandø Ebvevej, where the tour both starts and ends, and from here we walk along the dike to the north and further out onto Låningsvejen. We stop about 4 km outside, where we stand still and follow the sun down into the ocean horizon. Then we turn east and walk home along Mandø Ebvevj — now on the seabed, while the last light of day recedes and darkness announces its arrival. It is in this shift that the senses are sharpened, and many experience a special calm in the body. The terrain is varied, and on parts of the trip we go into water — max up to knee height. Tide and Safety: The tide determines unconditionally. We plan according to tide tables and local conditions and we never compromise on safety. The route can therefore be adjusted so that the experience becomes safe and in balance with the forces of nature. Visit the hidden tidal island, the pearl of the Wadden Sea and the island of the year 2026. At Midtvej 7 on Mandø, park the bus and from here you have the opportunity to explore the island. Whether you want a guided tour with a tour of the island, a child-friendly family experience or to explore on your own, you are free to choose. At Midtvej 7 you will also find the arrival house “Stalden”, where you can enjoy a packed lunch, visit the newly opened nature collection or take a walk in the “Stalden” and read about the island's history, traditions and nature and wildlife. In addition, you will also find toilet facilities at the address. At Café Mandøpien you can enjoy a lunch with local specialties from the Wadden Sea region and if you are more into a to-go specialty to take around the island, then this is also an option.
