Waddehavgus - Dunkel*, is a special edition of Waddehavgus that contains all the elements of Waddehavgus, but at Dunkel we dim the light a little more, enjoy the sounds and light of the flames in the wood stove and let tales take us out on the Vades under the starry sky. The tales connect us to the starry sky through myths and legends about the Wadden Sea, constellations and celestial phenomena.*

When summer is drawing to a close, the leaves appear reddish, the light changes tone, the darkness embraces us earlier and the temperature drops, then the time is right to get together in the saunas.

At Skovly near Ribe, RO by the Wadden Sea takes place with, among other things, the sauna experience “Waddehavgus”, which is a sauna house experience that includes several elements from the Wadden Sea.

Waddehavgus takes place in the banya at Skovly, a sauna built on the basis of old traditions, which creates a very special setting for going to the sauna. Here the smells of wood, plants and essential oils, the light is muffled and the glow of the flames flares.

The experience “Wadden Sea Gus includes

• 4 rounds of saunagus on very high quality essential oils

• 2 Wadden Sea Scrubs

• Access to cold water tanks and showers

• Fruits, salty snacks, juices and teas

• Homemade balance fluid

Waddehavgus is facilitated by Annaliva, who has created gus for 4 seasons, always focusing on the participants, she takes great pride in creating security, presence and relaxation, so that you as a participant can go home with a renewed light energy, in deep calm and relaxation.

Practical information:

👙 The Wadden Sea Gus takes place wearing swimsuits.

🎒 Bring swimwear, 2 towels, optional drinking bottle, neoprene shoes/bathing shoes and bathrobe.

It can be advantageous to change clothes from home, but there are also changing facilities at Skovly, and everyone rinses themselves under the shower before going to the sauna.

We serve tea 15 minutes before we start, but for the sake of any teams that are about to finish, please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before we start.
